So many client/customers asking the same question, “ How our platform functions in practice, and how the AI tools will be integrated into daily dental workflows “ , There’s some scenario for practices.
- On chair side scenario 1 : “ Radiography diagnostic ” . When assist import radiography in second . AI will filter/detect oral cavity morphology,(like caries, root canal, Cementoenamel junction(CEJ), Radiography Bone Loss(RBL), Periodontal Bone Loss(PBL), Crown, Bridge, Tooth position….etc). As my point, that helped/improved dentist communication with patients. Even without dentist , Dental hygiene assistant also could on this task. Patient will be clearly there oral issues. Increases patient relationships.
- On chair side scenario 2 : “ Periodontal chart with voice recognition “. Periodontal is common practice in dental clinical . We provide this chart on voice recognition on this practices. - (periodontal chart wasn’t innovative functions , but it’s a daily workflow)
- On chair side scenario 3 : “ Voice record “. When click a button (on platform). Will start recording conversations with patients. Doctor no longer write down anything. You can record anything anytime you want on every therapy. ( Voice record was’t innovative functions also, but we always think about efficiency and convenience, even just a little functions)
- On consulting side scenario 1 : “ Assessment and treatment plan “. As scenario 1, when radiography diagnostic down. Dentist will make a treatment plan and generator assessment report (or maybe estimate)for patient. So we provide the functions form 0 to 1. AI radiography diagnostics will capture image form radiography and auto paste into assessment, that reduces time , then dentist input treatment plan , well generator treatment ROADMAP in assessment also. Finally send assessment via mail to patients(no need print)
- On clinical and dentist side scenario 1 : “ Fully Image & voice management platform “ . We support all kinds of image (ExtraOral-Panoramic, ExtraOral-Periapical, Intro-camera, 3Shape STL)For now. And further CBCT(dcm). Absolutely included voice record file.
- On clinical and dentist side scenario 2 : “ Periodontal classification “ . We have many discussed with our periodontist. For the AAP/EAP 2018 standard .(Staging and grading system) is so complex. Patient need fill medical and dental history, doing periodontal chart, then periodontist calculating metrics(Index tooth, Maximum CAL, Pocket depth, Bone loss type, Bone loss percentage, Ridge defect……etc) and then get results…..All process take time . So I deep study with our algorithms engineers , AI algorithms can do this job, dentist/dental hygiene only need to is periodontal chart. All staging and grading will calculate automatically. Reduces time up to 1~2 hours. Meanwhile periodontal patient must follow up , as the step on AI platform will show each periodontal assessment report clearly.
Conclusion
Dentistry has a very wide range of specialties, and whatever the future holds for AI in dentistry, there are bound to be even more ahead-of-the-curve innovations to come.
